About Seta Farm
Our Story
Seta Farm was registered in 2020 and is situated in Murang’a County, Kenya. The business is
owned by Christine Wanjiku Njuguna who is a graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of
Agriculture and Technology with a bachelor’s in horticulture. She has also taken mushroom
short courses from farmers around Kenya and Miramar International and from
University of Eldoret. Her experience and knowledge of mushrooms will be a great asset in
farm expansion and growth.
Christine Wanjiku Njuguna
Christine is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Thika and is involved in volunteer work in the
community and chair lady of the youth group in Mary Immaculate Catholic Church.
Why Seta Farm?
Seta Farm is a mushroom farm located in Kenol, Murang’a County. The name seta is coined
from the Spanish name for mushroom. The farm is involved in the production of white and
brown button mushrooms and oyster mushrooms.
